I'm an early career building historian and illustrator from Cardiff and my art and written work celebrate the architecture of Wales, particularly Cardiff, and try to draw attention to some lesser-appreciated buildings. I think of my illustrations as digital collages, as I cut and layer shapes from a library of textures and patterns built up over the years.
I'm also a Building History masters student at the University of Cambridge and work part-time at St Fagans National History Museum. My background means that I have a good understanding of the architectural details, features and materials I'm illustrating, which allows me to honour the original design but be playful with colour, scale and exaggeration, plus every print is accompanied by a postcard with historical information about the building.
Commissions of specific buildings are available. Please get in touch via the 'Contact' page. Thanks for visiting!
